Pay yourself first, then judge the profit
Owners who take irregular draws never know if the business works. Set a salary, pay it every month like any other bill, and then look at what is left. If profit is steady, the S corp question and the owner retirement plans are where a real amount of money can be kept, and an accountant should hear the question this year.
